AC&MS Ltd has successfully maintained its UKAS accreditation (BS EN ISO/IEC 17025) for Bulk Analysis by polarised light microscope (PLM) since 2005.
AC&MS Ltd offer a wide range of sample analysis from:
- Analysis while you wait.
- 24 hour service for urgent analysis.
- Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
- Water Absorption testing.
On completion of all tests a UKAS accredited certificate will be issued.
AC&MS Ltd also offer Management of the following:

- WAC Sampling (Waste Acceptance Criteria).

The in house laboratory is staffed by a team of technicians to meet your requirements. All analysis is carried out in accordance with current accredited in house procedures and HSE guidance, including HSG 248 “Asbestos: The analysts’ guide for sampling, analysis and clearance procedures”.
All AC&MS Ltd Laboratory staff are trained to the national recognised British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) proficiency module P401 and have a wealth of experience dealing with all types of asbestos and non asbestos samples.
AC&MS Ltd are active participants in the Asbestos in materials scheme (AIMS) instigated by the Health and Safety Laboratory (HSL), and have consistently achieved a satisfactory result since joining.
